I am finally getting around to setting up my factory A/C. All the components all accounted for and installed with the exception of the pulley or pulleys. I have two pulleys on hand, the one that bolts to the side of the compressor (and adjusts) and another with two arms on it. I have no idea if the later is to be used or just an extra part I have aquired along the way. That is where my question comes in. So, does the belt go around the compressor, the adjusting pulley and the drive pulley, or does the other one get used somewhere also?
Second question, What is the correct color for the pulley(s)? If Zinc, how do you do that?
Thanks.

thanks, I had saved the pictures under your 'engine' link (I refer to them often). Didn't think to look for others. The different angle helps.

We do have different compressors and top pulleys though, I assume it has to do with the build date and\or plant. Mine are Dec 12, 1967 and Metuchen respectfully.
Thanks again
