Start with a small hole and go up in steps till it fits.
Those stepped allin one hole drills work quite well in sheet metal, regular twist drills will auger in unless sharpened to deal with thin materials.
Here it is from a 68 Mustang fender, Hole size is 1 5/32 [1.156] It is 5" inch from the hood side edge, 71/2" inch from the door edge. It has a small notch 1/4 inch wide[ center of hole] x 1/8 deep. facing to the edge going to the tire, Hope this helps.
Has anyone else had a problem with the passenger side Stainless steel brake line being to short and having the incorrect bend at the soft line connection? The line that I have wont reach the soft brake line fitting location and it is also angled the wrong direction. This is on a 65 fastback...
