Can someone clue me in on the c stripe vs the solid tripe above the rocker moldings on 68' mustangs? Is the C stripe on GT models only or has someone just added it?

For '68 the C stripe became standard as part of the GT Equipment Group. All GT's before '68 had the rocker stripes as part of the package.

I recall reading somewhere that in '68 the customer could special order the rocker stripe instead of the "C" stripe on GT package equipped cars. I have not verified or attempted to validate my recollection, so don't bet any large amount unless you take the time to confirm first. LOL

I prefer the rocker strip to the c strip. I wonder if Marti could verify that? Any other suggestions on mustang experts that confirm?
