1968 Mustang Coupe

I bought it to use as a guide to help restore a 68 conv that I recently sold. I don't need it now. It has the usual Mustang rust in the floors, torque boxes and some in the frame rails. It seemed to be cleaned up in the '80's. It was repainted and pinstriped. It has new drum brakes all around and drives well. It does hesitate a little when given gas. I have only driven it around the neighborhood.

Most body panels would need some sort of work or replacement. It looks good from far away since none of the rust is showing through. It is all there except for the trunk spring rods. The interior is all there with no rips or tears, but is dirty. It also has some GT Equipment, like GT grille with fog lights and GT pop open gas cap, although not original. It has 80's Alum wheels and an am/fm cass stereo.

I have a basic Marti report and it breaks down as follows:
8 - 1968
T - Metuchen
01 - hardtop
C - 289, 2V
65A - Hardtop
T - Candy red
2U - Parchment std buckets
17 - Washington DSO
2 - 2.79 Axle
W - C-4 Auto

Black Vinyl roof
C4 Auto
white sidewall tires
AM radio
Remote LH mirror
wheel covers

Produced May 1968.

I can send pics if you can't get out and look at it. The car is located just south of Annapolis MD.
