I hear you - just been so much other stuff going on that I have been running into a time deficit....running an independent repair shop part time in the other half of the garage doesn't help; and projects (not all mine) keep accumulating...

I would like to be able to keep her, just trying to be realistic on what we'll be able to get done- it's been sitting like this for a while now, and motivation is hard.

So my car sat like that for about 8 years while my business was growing. Finally this year, I made a deal with myself. Spend 2-4 hours a weekend working on it. Every weekend unless there was a legit reason I couldn't. I broke it down into smaller steps and then it seemed a lot less daunting to get back into it. But rarely did I do more than 4 hours a weekend. usually in the 2-3 hour range. Once I started making some progress, it started getting easier to find the motivation to wrench again. Now it'll take me a year to get it done at this pace, but now its at least moving.

take baby steps. It'll happen.
