I know with the right tools and ability someone can fab up most anything. But the structure of a 68 is very different than a 69 Mustang. I imagine there's going to be a whole lot of fab work to convert a 68 coupe to a 69 fastback. I think it would be a lot easier to start with a 69/70 fastback, or even a 69/70 coupe. But to each his own.

Well Maxum 96? Not sure if you noticed? But I’m new too building Mustangs. I’m not a Novice on names or build . When it comes to Ford. Thanks for Correcting and showing us You have a Shelby De Mexico! 1st suggestion taken into consideration.
Sorry if you were offended. People often put out incorrect information and others repeat it as fact. I have owned vintage Mustang since 1985 and have been totally reconstructing my current one for the last 13 years. But that doesn't make me an expert. I have posted things in here that weren't correct and others straightened out my bad info, which is what they should do.

In your original post you wrote you "found a Shelby Grande Coupe". No such animal was ever built by Ford or Shelby that I've ever seen or heard of in my 40+ years of reading and studying about Mustangs and Shelby cars. The closest to that ever built were the Shelby de Mexico Mustangs. Due to the vinyl roof and being built out of a coupe body, they are often mistaken as Shelbyized Mustang Grandes. It sounded as if you were describing one of those and I posted a picture of one (I do not own one) to inquire if that was what you were referring to.

Lastly, I have no idea what you mean when you said "1st suggestion taken into consideration." I never made any suggestions in my previous post.

My father is the 74 year old Vietnam Veteran and Body by fisher employee. Meaning didn’t you come from your father? So did I. Just to clear that up. Since I’m guessing it struck a nerve.
I don't think you struck a nerve. Your posts are sometimes confusing and hard to follow due to your sentence structure.

Please don’t take this the wrong way? But are you following the post for the CAR? Or are you wanting to know Who I AM? Or are you here for a grammar lesson? Not going to get that from here. My sentences have nothing to do with how I build my cars!? Not only that. I’m posting from a cell phone. You guys are asking things not related to building or customizing this car! All I’ve heard from the start is how stupid something sounded! Now a lot of you are eating crow. To be clear my father is 74 correct. He also helped on this build. Along with my brother and 1. So three men built this car.

We are interested in your car. It's a very unique build. But at times it's tough to follow what your are trying to convey or say in your postings. No one here is trying to be critical of you. We're not here to correct your grammar or spelling. We all mess up our spelling and grammar at times. I find myself bad about doing typo's sometimes and I can't totally blame my phone/tablet's auto correct feature. Lol. So please, don't be upset if people don't understand what you're trying to say or get things wrong about you or your car.
