Now that I've used every graemlin I can think of to describe this, I still am asking myself, WHY!?

You have to be a member of that forum to see those pics.

I can infer from the posts it's a rice engine in a classic stang. That movie series has been crap from the beginning so it's no surprise.

I saw the pics and I don't much care for it but they will do what ever it takes to make money. I just hope this doesn't start some sort of trend amoung the younger car people.

And what is wrong with a reliable and economical car? (johnpro could use a couple of them :peeping:)
Those kids are just car enthusiasts just like YOU and I.

It sure is funny to see the creations they come up with but in the years past I saw lots of questionable mods to our rare classics too.

Get used to them, they will be around a LONG time.

I cant see the pictures there either, but a web search for FF3 movie cars came up with this "The automotive star of the film, however, may wind up being a rather innocuous-looking '67 Ford Mustang fastback, Rumors were flying among the participants there that the car was destined to wind up with the drivetrain from a Nissan Skyline GT-R — including its twin-turbocharged inline six"

This fastback was on the site as well.

No offense , but ask the same question to a WW II Vet or a Pearl Harbor survivor .
For good or bad it's a global economy and I bet your house has lots of foreign made products in it. Next to impossible to not have any in this time and day. :paranoid:

What comes to mind is another nostalgic thing that's missing in this world; the guys in white jackets with the nets!
Why don't they just get a face transplant and slam a Hummer instead if it's attention they want?
Why the Mustangs?

True enough, but I can still buy an American car and Ford is 93 percent domestic content, even if vehicles are produced in Mexico and Canada. Where does GM fall in that category? Fourth, behind Toyota and Honda, I believe.
