Hi all, getting to the point where I think Id be much happier with headrests. Been thru a few rear enders over the yrs and I dont want to get hit again without them. Can anyone tell me where i can get an affordable kit? I want to add them to my current seats. Also, seems one of my seats may be broken- anyone ever weld one to repair? Thanks!

I have welded a reinforcement and repaired a seat on my 66 that was broken because of a collision. Stronger than new after I did that. I'm sure headrests are a good idea, I've just never installed them on the early cars. The 68 had a better looking headrest and I see them on EBay etc sometimes. They look like they would be really easy to copy, or you could do what a lot of Mustang owners do and select ones from TMI , Distinctive, or from your favorite recycler, and have them upholstered in your color of choice.
