The trim molding on front edge of the hood on my 68 Mustang does not run horizontal in a straight line. There is a small suggestion of a V at the center of the hood. Since the grill has a line parallel to the hood it looks wrong, they should be parallel to each other. Originally I thought it was because the molding was aftermarket so picked up an original Ford one and installed it, same problem. Do I have an non original hood (if so how can I check this?) Regardless,is there a way to either fix the hood lip or adjust the molding? Mark

Yep, thats how its supposed to be. I just went out and checked on my hood to make sure, and it does, as you say make a sort of "v" shape. So nothing is wrong
