I'm replacing my instrument panel bezel, :chainsaw: and I'm curious if there ought to be a jewel/colored lens over the Brake and Seatbelt light positions. My old unit didn't have one, nor does the new repro. Seems odd that there's just a couple holes with bare bulbs...

Yes, there's a red lens over the holes.

Is the lense lettered Brake and Seatbelt by chance?

Know any suppliers... and thanks for your help. I rechromed and repainted my air extractor vents as per your suggestion (a year ago) and they look great!

I had the same problem when I purchased a new repo bezel. Haven't been able to find anyone who supplies this lens so far either. Please let me know if you find someone that does.

Yes they are lettered, I got mine from another '68 dash, as far as I know no one is making them.

Unfortunately, I don't think they're being reproduced yet.

Thanks for the info. I'll go on the hunt, I guess. Too bad my old instrument panel was missing that lense. Grrrr...
