So I drove for about 45 minutes today and I don’t think it would have been possible without the all the information on this site. With that in mind here’s my story. I purchased my 68 in October of 2019(my 3rd over the last 25 years).Drove it a few times but it needed some work. Starting January I made some purchases and got to work. Sine then here is what I’ve done......

Pertronix II electronic ignition with relay control
4 1/2 mid eye rear leaf springs
Scott Drake Shocks front and rear
Removed 4wheel manual drum brakes and installed power front disc/rear drum with all new brake lines.
Replaced the 7 1/4 rear end with an 8 inch rear
Replaces the carburetor
Added a fuse panel for future upgrades

Thanks to everyone who has asked or answered a question here. You have all been a big help.

Thanks. The color is red garnet metallic. It was on it when I bought it. Original color is presidential blue I believe. Next up I would like to do the Shelby drop and get the front the same height as the rear.
