Where can I get my booster for my 68 Disk brakes rebuilt? NPD says they do not have the 68 year model. Is there a kit and is this something that I should do, or shoudl it be left to the experts?

67 - 69 are supposed to be the same. I got the booster (Midland clamp band type) and M/C from my local Advance Auto for $150. They only charge 50 for the core, and I had bought two at the last rust fest here in Raleigh for $20 ea. All I had to do was paint thenew one the correct color and put it on. Warranty to boot!

I picked one up at Autozone for only $115 dollars plus return of the core. While I was at it, a dual master cylinder for the same application only cost me $14.95 from Autozone as well.

Thanks,
Ron

Another option is to send it to Power Brake Exchange for a rebuild, about $110 if I recall correctly. They advertise in Hemmings and are in San Jose, CA
