All, I tried this question over on the main forum and didn't get any info. I have aftermarked 15" styled steels that have rust breaking out on the rim. I'm thinking about chrome trim rings like the original 14" had. Wheels were inherited with the car, so I don't know the specs - took a few pics to try to explain. Any thought on width of ring to get?

You may be able to get rid of the rust with a soaking in white vinegar, a little polishing with 0000 steel wool, then wax them really good or have them clear powder coated locally. If you wanna do trim rings, be forewarned they will scratch the chrome further going on and rust may run under them. Mine are about 2 and 3/4 inches wide overall on a 14 inch styled steel wheel. Get stainless ones if you do.

Thanks - I've polished, used tricks found on VMF, and such for the past several years.... I've milked it along for a good while. Looking to just cover it now and get another 5 years out of them.... Stainless would be the plan...
