Hi All

Dumb question: I know most of the vendors sell the FE elbows and various others. Got rid of my aftermarket aluminum intake and have a correct cast iron Ford now. Which is most correct for 351W -- the high curved elbow or the 90 degree square one?

The 69 Windsor used a tube style attachment point that was bent 90 degrees with a fitting at the intake

Nothing like digging up a 7 year old thread.

I am a bit confused as to which bent elbow is correct. I have yet to find the heater intake elbow that is specific to the 1969 351w 4v engine.

D0AZ-18599-A (a 1970 part number) is listed for 69-70 351. No where does it diferentiate between windsor or cleveland. The leaky corroded elbow in my 1969 Mach 1, which has the original (rebuilt) engine, is not as tall as the D0AZ.

Part C8AZ-18599-A, looks like a match to the one I have, but is identified for 68-70, 428 and 390 engines.

Anyone have any thoughts as to which one is correct for my engine?
