Just received a spacer for my 69 Boss 302 and am confused... The lettering on the spacer indicates TOP next to a FoMoCo logo, but if the spacer is oriented that way, the PCV inlet either points toward the driver side if facing the back, or toward the passenger side if facing the front. My question is, how is the PCV hose supposed to be routed: toward the back, or toward the front of the carburetor? If it should be toward the back, then this spacer would have to be mounted with the TOP side down.

Thanks for your help.

The proper orientation is forward with the outlet pointing towards the passenger side. A long prebent hose connected it to the pcv valve on the valve cover.
