Have you looked in the classifieds on this web site. I saw yesturday, under "'69-'70 Parts for sale" someone had a complete set-up for sale.Might look at it.
I bought a whole '72 Mustang and stole the front brakes off it. Then had to scrap the rest of the car.....Still got a few small parts in the way, but, got a great disc set-up....
When I rebuilt my rear brakes I took the time and really gave the drums a good clean and paint with Por-15. After a few days I put the drums back on and they seemed tight.
I think the paint where the studs and hub come through are causing it.
Well I just received my roller idler arm from OTR and totally misread the instructions. Instead of inch pounds I used foot pounds! John was nice enough about it but I feel like a dope. Guess I need to get my vision checked and go to the head of the class!

I found a topic on this from 2014 but the question was never answered.
The valve covers on my engine are the same left and right. They both have an opening for a twist in cap (left cover opening at front, right cover opening at back).
In the pictures I can find, they only show a rubber grommet...
