I have three Ques...about '69 FOMOCO Disc Brakes.

First, What would be the correct part # and date code for spindles, calipers, distribution/proportioning block.

Second, Can the proportioning block be rebuilt ?? How can you check it to be sure it work prior to install?

Third Q...is there a way to tell if used capilers/power booster/MC are good without hooking the up the entire setup?
What should I look for...thnx.

I know that 69 spindles have the smaller tie rod hole in them and I believe this is true to all of the 69 disk brakes spindle.

The prop valve can be rebuilt. It's two o-rings and a spring. There is a little piston inside that should move. The spring returns it to the rest position. From the hex end, use the blunt end of a small drill bit to push the piston. You should feel it move smoothly. If it doesn't, rebuild that puppy.
