Bought a power steering pump, (no reservoir) from NAPA and it came with two O rings. Looks like a white teflon ring and a smaller O ring. Do I use these?? Nothing in the instructions. Thanks

I think the white ring goes on the pressure port (the hollow threaded stud) before the reservoir is installed. Then the metal ID tag and the nut go on the stud and tighten the reservoir down against the white ring.

Use neither. Why would they send them? There is a fiber gasket that goes between the outside can, and the inner cannister. Then the big O ring that seals the front of can to cast housing.

I think the rebuilder probably just tosses them in if the application says "Ford"... probably for the later model pump with plastic reservoir and side outlet...
