On my 69 Mach 1, in the process of a resto, I came across a collapsible spare in a auto wreckers, it is a 14" and it has never been filled, but the canister is not there. Did my year car use them. The tire is a Goodyear brand and is on a black Ford rim. Thanks.

If I remember this correctly.Fold down rear seat cars got the spacesaver spare. No fold down seat got a standard tire.
But of course I could be wrong on this point

I believe all fold down rear seat Machs had the fold up spare, it was just to small for a full size..the 14 inch is correct as only Boss 302's and 428's had 15 inch tires..as for the cannister..*Good Luck* finding one..I searched for over a year and lucky for me eljimbo from this forum had 2 and was kind enough to pass one along to me..

Mopars of the same year had the same canister, just a different color
Another place to look for them
