Hey guys and gals, I have a 69 Mach and my driver remote mirror is currently inoperable. In your vast experience, what is likely the culprit? Haven't taken anything apart yet. Just wondering if anyone else has had their remote mirror cease to be adjustable from inside the car and what ultimately was the reason? Thanks!

Likely it requires cleaning and lubrication. However, I cleaned and lubed mine before installing it on the car and it just barely works. Well, it is 50 years old. I suspect the cables have stretched.

I had the same problem. Was broken cables at adusting knob. Not fixable, had to replace the entire mirror assy.
