Just installed the new headliner & located the front hooks, but after 4 years the memory dims & I did'nt measure the location of the rear Coathooks. Can anyone give me a rough starting point from the nearest bow, before I go poking holes in the new liner?

Hey Greg, I just went out and dug my way into my 69 Mach 1 and got the following measurements for you. My headliner has "4" seams, the first or front coat hook/seat belt hook is 7/8 inches behind the first seam. The back coat hook is 25-1/4 inches "centre to centre" from the front hook. It is also 2-3/4 inches "centre to centre" behind the roof seat belt bolt. It is also in line with the seat belt bolt and is 1-3/4 inches ahead of the forth seam in the head liner. I hope these make sense and help you out. There is about an 1/8 inch difference between drivers and pass.sides on my car.. Darel.

Thanks Darel, found them, your measurement's were spot on! There's not many '69's here for comparison.
