I recently installed a Lecarra steering wheel (rim blow looked pretty bad). The problem is the "dish" of the Lecarra is less than the old Ford wheel which places the steering wheel closer to my old creaky fat leg. I'm thinking about installing a tilt column. Does anyone make an aftermarket column that is fairly easy to install, or do I need to shop for a column from a 69?

Just another red 69 Mach One

No I don't believe you'll find an aftermarket that will be an easy swap (not much market for it IMHO) So if you want to keep the car fairly stock find a 69 Mustang or COugar column. If not I would look for a 70 with the locking steering benefit
