Taking a road trip to look at a 69 Torno GT Fastback. My rational is that if I get this one I will have a reference so that I can finally start assembling the one that is collecting dust in the garage.

What a let down. Rotted floors, tired motor and trans, plenty of fluid leaks, almost no brakes, all A/C components missing, heater core bypassed, etc...

300 mile drive each way. Why can't people be straight up?

Ya know, there used to be a real Chicagoland Torino expert. Yep, I cannot even remember his name but he used to go the Northern Il. Shelby club shows towing his Torino show car with yet another Torino. I'll ask around, he was pretty knowledgable.

Nothing yet, other than why I have let it sit for over two years without making any progress on it.

I've had the chance to spend the last three nights working on it and hopeto keep the momentum going.
