Are the consoles from the 70 Mustangs different from auto. to 4-speed? I installed a T5 in my formerly C4 car and I want to add a console. Thanks in advance.

The center insert is different between an automatic and a manual

When swapping to a T5, I used a console from a C4. The fit was tight, but functional and looked fine. I made a custom walnut panel for the console and mounted 2 autometer gauges on the panel. Came out great. Have 4 extra panels made at the same time, which I have available for sale. I think there are photos of these in my photo gallery here, if interested.

i have a 70 automatic console for sale. it has had some repair work done but it is in good overall condition it's not show quality but would be great for a driver. PM me if you're interested
