Well, its been three years and the end is near. The Machs about to see the sunlight again...but! I can't remember how the door windows are positioned. Are the stainless vertical strips that retain the weatherstrip supposed to "sort of" butt up to the quarter window frame,or do they overlap a tad...or even yet are they gapped from the quarter frame? I get queasy everytime I go to shut the door with the window up...if you know what I mean. Thanks

I had the same problem. Part of the issue is the new weatherstriping you're probably using. I too can't stomach closing my doors with the glass all the way up. If your door panels aren't on, you should be able to adjust your door channels/door glass to do exactly what you want it to. It allows for a pretty decent amount of adjustment. Good luck.

70 Mach 1 (351C 4V 4-speed) I've been restoring since '96. 95% complete. Also have a '68 HT (289 2-speed) that I restored between '97-98 and is FOR SALE! The VMF has proven to be an invaluable resource for information, humor and excellent advice.
