Working with firewall pad installation in the vicinity of the brake light switch and out drops this piece. Please help identify so I can put it back wher it goes. Thanks, Tom

That's the pin that holds the brake pedal shaft on the master cylinder pushrod. definitely want to get that back on.

Nah, it's pretty easy to put in. Just look on your brake pedal where the mc pushrod connects to the brake pedal shaft, and on the end of that shaft here is a hole to slip that pin in. Of course you have to contort your body to get up under he dash, that's always fun ;)

I like to hold the loop end with a pliers and slide it right in.

I tried to get my wife to put on a pair of short shorts and crop top to put my pin back in, but didn't have any luck....she did get it in though....:)

Maybe you will have better luck....LOL
