Well I finally have some details on this Mach 1 I have been chasing. The owner lives about an hour away and I will go there at 11 am on Monday to get pics and check it out.
He tells me its a 70 with a 351 2v with a Hurst shifter atop a 4 spd. He says its in rough condition but is not rusted thru. It came from california and apparently runs. He said the clutch is gone and that is why its sitting. The hood also has cringles on the nose and there is a crease in the drivers door just below the window. The interior is shot I am sure but he says it has a console. I forgot to ask if it had air but since it doesn't have the fold down I highly doubt that it has A/C.
Price to me is $2500. I think it maybe hard to say no! Will just have to figure out how to come up with the cash! I like the idea because then I could work on it a little and get it running then maybe trade it for a 70 vert which is what I really want. I will post some pics Monday night when I have them.
