Sorry for the repeat. My books show that the 69 Mustang has a seperate sheet metal housing that the shift boot screws to. But it does not show it for the 70. Is this correct? This is for a stick shift car. Thanks
The boot screws to the floor. If it's a non console car there is a square chrome plate with a square center which slides under the lowest boot fold to cover the bolts.
If it's a console car the console plate covers it. This applys to both 69 and 70 Mustangs. [email protected]
