I have done a conversion from no gauges to the three center gauges - last summer. I have used the proper senders, and connected the wires appropriately. The Temp and oil gauges consistently read too low for normal operation.
Yesterday I changed the Instrument Voltage regulator hoping to solve this. (the fuel gauge also does not go full scale when the tank is filled.)
My car has an electronic replacment alternator regulator.
Any suggestions where to look further on this?

Check to see if the connectors(metal pins) are clean that might help out?

thats funny you mention the fuel gauge...
I can fill my car up till it over flows with gas... and that gauge will not read FULL for the life of it....
my temp oil and Alt gauges read fine... the oil gauge obviously with any ford ive ever seen, will go up and or down with you engine increasing/decreasing in rpms
