Hey guys, Im almost finished with my restore of a 73 Mach1 with 4spd. I re-installed the clutch equilizer bar but the rod that pushes on the cluch lever seems to be at a severe angle. The only thing that I can think of that may be off is the bracket that bolts to the frame. I had a hell of a time getting the thing installed and im trying not to pull the whole thing apart unless I need to. My question is: the bracket for the equilizer bar that bolts to the frame, which side of the bolts does the ball go on, do the bolts go above the ball or below the ball???

Thanks for your help in advance.

The bolts go above the ball. The rod is supposed to be at that angle. The equalizer chages the up down motion to a forward back motion to move the clutch.
