72 Mach rear fenders

I don't think I am using proper term, but a search under rear quarter panel found nothing. Anyhow, I am considering buying a 72 Mach 1 and the most troubling problem I see is some bad rust damage on one rear Q panel /skirt/ outer fender around the wheel housing. Not know these beasts, I would like to know whether I should run away from this car? Many thanks

Depends on the price, mine has 2 fiberglass replacement quarters on it, so it can be done...

NICE MACH!!!! Where do ya get fiberglass replacements? How about the big side stripes? The one I am looking at is currently on Ebay starting at $1,000 (not reserve price). Its in red primer. Looks like a six year project. I am going to find out how to post a jpg of my Grande.
Thanks for the compliement!
The 1/4 panels were on the car when I bought it, but this place has a ton of f/g parts ('cept 1/4 panels, but mine have labels on them, I'll check this weekend for you, if I forget just repost):

I have the f/g fenders too... The stripes and all the other decals can be had at

but the bottom stripe (on the lower part of my car) is painted on. If you have anymore ?'s, ask! Good luck!

Thanks for the input, I'll store it. Yes, I am familiar with CJ's and have found mostly junk (much rusts and corrosion) for 71-73 (72 front fender with plenty of lumps and a manifold so far gone its a crime. Also, I don't think they know 71-73, or what to do with them. Some of the info their sales persons have given me has been dead wrong (and I knew it at the time). Maybe things have changed there, I don't like to crap on anyone trying to run a business. This is a particular difficult market to please.
Hum... I've never experienced buying used parts from them... I've bought a few new things (some senders, upholstery, headliner, wheels, etc...) without incident. For used parts I've had good luck w/ Blue Ridge Classic Mustang and Jason Mountz, and have a pending deal w/ Pat Robey that so far has gone excellent.
