Hi David429
Did this car come originally with a 429 or was it an "add in". What was the original engine/tranny?
Is it Certified ?
How is the interior?
What color exterior/interior?
Any frame/torque box/body rust ?
engine run OK?
Also would appreciate pictures....
E-mail to me directly at smason36 @cogeco.ca (remove the space)
I am in Ancaster and would like to come and see it, depending on the answers provided.
Thanks

I went and looked at this car, and will answer my own questions for the benefit of those interested in it....

Certified or Safety Inspection - no, will not pass.
Interior is good (Black)
Exterior is primer black & grey mix, unknown original colour.
Rust ? - yes and lots of it, truck is a patchwork of amatuer patches, some riveted, some with metal screws, frame rails are rusted through in some places, torque boxes need replacing. Floor has been replaced by current owner, but with fabricated sheetmetal, not a purchased floorpan peice, and is not welded in.
The 429 & C6 look sound and he said the engine had been rebuilt locally. It has an aluminum Rad that is old and questionable, and has the inlet/outlets on the wrong side for this motor.
I do not recall if he said the engine has been run at all since rebuild.
He also told me the car has a new front clip, but you should verify that.

I'm trying not to judge or make any opinions here, just present facts.
