After much grunting and a few choice cuss words, the 9 inch is back together and ready to go in.
Mine has a drain plug in the bottom of the casing. I know it's a drain plug because it'd be a bear to fill it from here. The big question...how do you fill it, or service it, once it's back under the car?

if theyre isnt a fill on the chunk itself, go thru the vent hose fitting (slow as heck), or pull an axle and put it in there

either way, you'll have to know the corrct capacity

filling the rear end through that vent cracks me up.....

I remember when my dad had to do that to the coupe when I was
a kid......I don't think I have ever heard him cuss like he did when this was done......

filling thru the vent CAN be easy....attach a long piece of fuel line to the fitting, and cut a hole in the gear oil bottle the exact outside diameter of the fuel line.

you can then support the upside down oil bottle like an I.V. bottle, so it gravity feeds.....and go watch TV!!!
