9" rear pumpkin color

I removed the 3.00 gears and replaced with 3.25.
I am ready to install the gears but decided to paint it.
What is the correct color for this?
Is semi-flat black the same as semi-gloss?

The "pumpkin" is actually red oxide(like primer) in color. The rearend housing is semi flat or semi gloss, both are the same.

Here is a picture of what it should look like. Sorry the exhaust is partially obstructing the view. Notice the bare metal areas where is pumpkin was machined after painting.
