Hmm, just looking around an came across the following for $1800 CDN:

1965 Coupe w/o engine and tranny but complete otherwise (typical rust, moderate).
c/w: 1969 302 w/C4, 1965 289, All metal pieces to finish (fenders, trunk, full quarters, all floorpans).

What do you think guys, another stang for the stable <G>? Always depends I suppose ....

Seems like a good deal to me, at least if I read that it comes with the sheet metal to fix it and 2 engines. That, is, if you can do the sheet metal replacing..

Figure just to weld in the new floor pans will run you (at least here) at least $700. So your up to 2500...still probably not bad. Then the body work and installation of the rest of the sheet metal and paint. FIgure at least 4K (probably even low). Now you up to $6500. Now your getting close to what it is probably worth, if not more.

I'd do it if you can do most of the welding. If not, leave it for someone else. It's tempting because you have the sheet metal. But the expensive part is getting it installed.
