The right corner of my car has developed a very annoying squeek. Have not been underneath yet, but it sounds like it's coming from the lower control arm. Any suggestions?

Probably the upper control arm. These cars are known for that. Maybe a previous owner installed grease fittings? Check it out.

Probably the upper control arm, very common problem. check and see if you have zerts that you can grease. Spray a little lube around and see if it stops squeeking.

i also had the same problem and will agree with everyone else. since the squeak i have rebuilt the suspension and have grease fittings that are much more helpful then those metal plugs that were in the old upper control are bushings. you can rebuild them for a decent price.

I am fortunate to have 90 degree zerts on my upper control arms, yes! Made fixing my squeak very pleasurable. :)

Thinking my squeak was coming from my upper arm, I was rather excited when I saw that I had zerts! I greased them and it didn't help even a bit. I didn't understand what was going on until I rebuild my entire front suspension and noticed that the upper arm had a crack in it and a half in wide triangle of steel was missing. I have no idea how long it would have lasted before it snapped. The crack was hidden behind the spring perch. YIKES. My squeak was caused by the flexing and rubbing of cracked steel.
