I posted yesterday AM about what turned out to be a worn out ignition switch. Within 2 hours I had received numerous replies with advice and things to look for.

After pulling the lock cylinder we discovered the problem was the ignition switch which I had purchased just in case and was able to complete the repairs within a half hour.

Thanks to each one who responded.

That's what makes this forum so great.

I've been through 2 ignition switches in my son's '65 in a year. They just don't make 'em like they used to /forums/images/icons/wink.gif.
