Went to re-look at the 68 coupe today. Got it up on a rack, and sure enough, it will eventually need front floor pans and the inner fender under the battery tray, but everything else seems reasonable. Looks as if the boy and I will get to spend some time between now and October spiffing it up. Apparently, I need some pointers on negotiating skill, however, in that the guy jumped at my first counter offer off his asking price. I thought I was low-balling.
