Ok, is there any reason I can not place the new adjustable prop valve next to my dist. block? I went with the adjustable one for a few reasons, 1. I cant find a junkyard with a granada, maverick, monarch, comet, mustangII any where near me. 2. I dont want to wait 2 weeks to have my car on the road due to buying one off of ebay.

So, again, whats the difference at the dist block, or at the rear of the car, does it matter?

I had mine under the hood. I have seen them mounted inside the car in race cars so they could adjust on the fly. I don't see any reason why they would need to be at the rear of the car.

I have mine just before the flex hose that goes down to the rear axle.

I put it there for a couple of reasons, mainly once you set if you will never touch it again so why have it under the hood. Second, no cutting or bending of lines is necessary. Third, after a 4 day disc swap the last thing I wanted to do was have to make more brake lines.

Just my 0.02
