I read somewhere that I can get "Chevy" valves that are already cut down to fit in my 289 heads. Any idea what vendor I can go through to find these or ANY "'upgraded" valves? I've tried a few websites with no luck.

Thank You In Advance

I think that those who recommend the chebby valves are looking to save a few bucks over the comparable Ford valves. Seems to me in order for them to work, some mods need to be made to length and/or keeper ring.

But, I could be wrong. Wouldn't be the first time. *G*

PAW sells the valves you need, they are .004" different in length.( no problem) They are bigger diameter valves so you will have to grind heads to match.( seat and valve must match)
