I just picked up an Edelbrock Performer Intake and matching 4-bbl for my 67 C-code. Can anyone tell me if my stock air cleaner will clear the hood with this combination? I would prefer to stick with the stock air cleaner/snorkle if possible.

I would think it should, I have the same set up but i have a Hipo type air cleaner which is pretty skinny. I had a three or four inch filter on there before and didn't have any problems. good luck.

it will fit, I'm was running that intake manifold and stock air cleaner in my 67 until i switched in an open element

I just installed a Edelbrock intake and carb on by 67 C-code. I had no problems using the stock air cleaner.
