I was wondering if anyone knew the screw size for the allen set screw that holds the shifter to automatic transmission lever ?

I dunno that but I think it takes a 3/32" Allen key to turn in and out.

Yeah definitely correct on that, the reason I was asking was because my allen set screw was stripped inside shifter so I wanted to find a replacement screw before i try to figure out how to remove the old stripped one inside

Hopefully it's the screw and not the shifter itself. You can match it at Lowe's or Home Depot etc, maybe NAPA or other good auto parts stores.

I removed my buggered set screw with a left hand drill bit and used a low speed on the cordless, it augered out quite easily.
Not wanting the same scenario later on, I retapped it to 1/4”-20. It must have cost Ford a penny more to do it right in the first place.
