With the cooler weather today, only suppposed to be in the mid 90's, I decided that it would be a good day to bring the fastback to work.

I stopped and filled up with fuel (that was depressing by itself), and took off for the office. I get less than a mile away and look down to my temp gauge, and it is not where it is supposed to be -- about 225°-230°. I then remembered I didn't turn on my fan and water pump. I hit the switch and the temp dropped down to about 190.

I really need to rewire that so it comes on automatically...luckily I think that I caught it in time so I didn't do anything to the engine or warp the alum. heads...
