I am doing a T5 conversion in a 68. Since my car was a 4 speed I am told the yoke splines will not match up and the driveshaft needs to be shortened. I am considering the custom aluminum versions. Anyone using the aluminum shafts? My car is used for cruising enjoyment and not racing. What are the pro's/con's or would it be easier to change the yoke and cut down the original unit?
