Am I the only one that does this ????
I am in no way shape form or fashion a mechanic, BUT. Every time something goes wrong with my Mustang I attempt to repair it myself and end up scerwing something up. Case in point, I replaced my power steering pump and hoses. The low pressure hose appeares way too long so I cut it to fit nice and snug. Well after completing the install I had my son turn the wheels to look for leaks. This is when I realized the reason the hose was so long is becaused it moves, alot. Oh well it is only about $17.00 and we had fun.

you're far from the only one...I've done similar stuff in the past too. Reminds of the old saying: I cut it twice and it's still too short!

It's good you can laugh it off--and now it's a mistake you'll never make again!

Mistakes are good training. When you get as old as some of us on here and still make the same mistake then you wonder what happen with the training.
