Hello all, here is my situation. I want to put a set of long tube headers on my 67 coupe. Motor is a 302 (cast# e5ae) and I just threw away the c5 that came with the car when I bought it. I have a toploader and z-bar going in it (thanks david), and currently have manual steering, though the power steering set up is on its way (thanks again david!). The car had an old set of tri y's on it but when I removed them to drop the auto trans out, I notived they were beat up horribly to fit in there. Needless to say im on the market for another set. I read and re-read all the threads and most of the suppliers comments on long tube headers and it seems that most everything needs "persuasive modification" to fit. Surely if we can put a man on the moon, we can find a set of headers that will fit on an ole 67. Have any of yall had consistent luck with a style or brand. For what its worth I want as much punch as possible from a header. Thanks and please forgive me for bringing up an old topic...
