Found this while surfing around, according to audio gurus, its pretty good stuff..

Aluminum coated jute padding works well. Its about 1/4" thick and is cut to shapes needed to insert behind panels. If well installed it does make a difference in noise levels. I'm going to guess this is what RAM mat is. Most audio installers have it.

I bought some Dynomat clone. It's nice, and it was easy to install....Worth the $$ ? I dunno....

I think you might do as well with some stuff from Home Depot.....
