I have a leak as shown in the pictures. The transmission was rebuilt with new seals 28 years ago and sitting the first 25 years. In the last 3 years I've had the car on the road for about 50-75 miles. I've put lots of fluid in as the torque converter and valve body filled with fluid. I also put a a bottle of stop leak in 3 years ago and again last year. The transmission seems to operate fine through the shift points and downshifting, I lucked out. I have a small leak and was wondering if I can take that side plate off and install a gasket or 2 or do I need to remove the transmission? Any other suggestions? As always thanks for the VMF input.

Looks like possibly the shifter seal is leaking.
