If you swap those valve covers side to side it would be easier to put oil in and the PCV valve would be out of site

Ha, just realized I had them backwards... whoops!

Nice work on your car. You are crushing it. I have a Gen 2 Raptor too and love it. I don't know, but it looks like Lightning Blue might be the way to go for your coupe. However, I too love Leadfoot grey and am considering it for as 65 convertible.

Nice to see this coupe coming back to life. I like your practical approach to it.

It sure looks little beside the raptor.

Thank you. I’m learning as I go and it keeps me busy.

Thank you. I’ve thought about going lightning blue but I think I’m going to shy away from a metallic solely for touch up reasons. May be silly but I don’t want to have to worry about re spraying a car due to a scratch or dent. Have 2 boys with the other half of the garage full of bikes etc.

Small update. I had been getting a small leak at the neck of the intake manifold/thermostat housing. Someone at some point cracked the intake manifold at the lower right bolt hole. I replaced the manifold and all is good. It previously had a torker 289 and the new intake is 289 performer. So doesn't look much different but that's not what matters. As of now, I have carpet, headliner, headliner insulation, and kick panels setting in the garage. Once i start getting things installed i'll get some more photos up. I'm still tinkering around with body work here and there (small dents and a flimsy rear valence) but its slowly coming along. I've also cut out my hacked up radio mount in the dash and welded in a replacement piece along with a radio delete plate.
