Any suggestions where I can find a honey comb tail light panel with the chrome trim for a 72 Mach I? I have been looking and looking for this part with no luck. Since the deal fell through with Johnny's Mustang City I just haven't been able to find this elusive piece for the car. It's driving me crazy!!! Can't find it repo, not making it at the moment...its on back order everywhere. I'm just about ready to sneak in my BIL's garage and snatch his off his 71 Mach I. Do you think he would miss it? The cars been in the garage for 10 years!!!! Can you tell I'm getting desperate!!! Why did my son have to pick a hard year of Mustang to find parts for!!!!! ( don't get me wrong, I LOVE HIS CAR)

You may get the same thing, but you can try Jim at Mustangs Plus.
He is a very good parts guy and will do all he can to help.

Mary Ann: Good to see you made it over to the new forum.

I happen to know that Teebone will be out of town this weekend. Go to CT, breake into his garage and take the one off of his Mach!

Seriously - If all else fails, you might contact Jeff Ford (the managing editor) at Mustang Monthly. He's just finished a restoration of a 72 Mach
and I'd bet he discovered all kinds of sources for parts for those cars.

Good Luck.

found one at restoremustangs.com - Follow this path in the index on the left...

Moldings | Exterior Moldings | Tail Lamp Honeycomb molding... Chrome moldings are right above it....

Hope that's the right one...

Edit.... Damn, my bad, the panel is out but the chrome is in stock...

http://my67heven.tripod.com/emsm.gifI was looking for a restoration of fantasy. I do not want my car to be as it was in 1967. I want it to be as I imagined it in 1967. -John Baird

Thanks for your help... I think I have called and emailed more people than I can remember. Missed getting one by one day! I run into road blocks every where I go. I think it would be easier finding a parts car than looking all over the place for stuff he needs.... Back to my search...........
